As Alabama's Hispanic and Latinx population grows, so does the need for culturally relevant health care, translation services, and support networks. According to AIDSVu, the rate of Hispanic/Latino males living with an HIV diagnosis is 1.9 times that of White males and the rate of Hispanic/Latina females living with an HIV diagnosis is 3.6 times that of White females in Alabama. Supporting all Alabamians and making sure they are able to live healthy, independent lives is a vital part of AIDS Alabama's mission.
